Hints of black truffle and smoked cacao nibs accent bright red-currant and red-cherry flavors in this full-bodied and concentrated yet piercing Pinot Noir. Sourced from limestone soils on both the French and German sides of the Schweigen vineyard, it's an invigorating red framed by fine-grained, lingering tannins and a subtle, smoky finish. Approaching peak now, it should improve through 2030. Anna Lee C. Iijima
