Friedrich-Wilhelm-Gymnasium 2001 Trittenheimer Apotheke Spätlese Riesling (Mosel-Saar-Ruwer)

The minerally wines of the Trittenheim Apotheke vineyard have gained enormously in reputation in recent years. The character shows well in this creamy ripe wine, with its soft, delicate fruit flavors shot through with a crisp layer of tannin, which shows how young the wine is. Yeasty flavors show through. This will develop well over 5-10 years. Roger Voss
