Fritz Haag 2016 Brauneberger Juffer Spätlese Riesling (Mosel)

Cellar Selection

Intense aromas of dusty slate and flint show prominently but there's also plenty of ripe, penetrating yellow-peach and nectarine flavors waiting to burst through. High toned acidity and a fine, filigreed texture mark the midpalate. It's a complex, faceted wine that should meld further from 2021–2030. Anna Lee C. Iijima
