Fulkerson 2017 Estate Syrah (Finger Lakes)
Raspy bramble berry and a healthy dose of freshly crushed black pepper form the earthy nose. This is light in body and racy in acidity. Flavors of pomegranate and cranberry race along the palate, with a slight accent of pepper chiming in. The tannins are mild and lightly textured, but give just enough grip.
