Full Sail Switchback Ale

Henna/auburn color topped by a fast-dissipating tan head. Opening nose shows evidence of distant dried fruit (berries) and little else; aromatic shades of malt dominate the latter stages of the nosing. Palate entry is moderately bitter, hoppy and malty then at midpalate the taste turns off-dry, toasty and slightly fruity. Aftertaste continues the light fruit profile but adds a zesty bitterness that underscores the whole experience nicely. P.P.
