Perhaps exacerbated by the small format 187 ml bottle sampled for tasting, this NV sparkling rosé exhibits notable maturation. It's slightly oxidative on the nose, with hints of honey and candied plums that mingle with yeasty brioche and mushroom notes on the palate. Delicate in mousse, it's an unusual, yet enjoyable example of German sparkling wine.
