Very light colored in the glass, this bottling from a property next to the town of Los Alamos hits the nose with crisp fruit and ample spice. Aromas suggest pomegranate, currant, peppercorn and white sage. The zesty palate is loaded with fruit-punch flavors, but the fennel pollen, wild herb and peppercorn elements take it to the next level. Matt Kettmann
