From a single 100% grand cru vineyard in the village of Cramant. Actually it is a crémant de Cramant, indicating a Champagne with slightly less effervescence and a lighter approach. Unusual, spicy, fennel-infused flavors lead into a silky, vanilla custard core, with hints of sandalwood and noticeable residual sugar. Tough match to food; great apéritif.
