Root beer, red cherries, cola and graphite aromas show on this wine from Olson Ranch made by Gina Gallo. There is a tremendous, atypical amount of grip on the palate, which offers solid flavors of citrusy, tart cranberry and long ringing acidity. The texture is a tad distracting but may mellow with age.
