This is the first vintage for Cab Franc as a varietal wine from Gamache. A lot of blueberry and black cherry shows through, along with generous barrel flavors of smoke and toast. It's got winemaker Charlie Hoppes' trademark chocolate, followed with round flavors of vanilla and tobacco, and tannins tasting of tea and earth.
