Garces Silva 2014 Amayna Pinot Noir (Leyda Valley)

A true-grit nose smells like you're trailing a road crew laying down asphalt. The palate is rather chunky and beefy, with grilled flavors of meat, pepper and burnt leaves. Fresh fruit is just not part of the package, and that's a problem. Michael Schachner
