Burnt leaf, barnyard, earth and mulch notes are not exactly pure and fresh on the nose. Rock-hard tannins dominate on a gritty, oak-covered palate, however with time in the glass, this wine displays wood and spicy berry flavors which show potential. Revisit in two years.
