Smooth, smoky and stylish. Huge flavors of cassis and plum are rich yet controlled. The tannins are meaty and firm, but they should subside within a year or two. The coffee, toast and vanilla notes on the finish are just about perfect. This wine is right on, a reflection of Sonoma Cab at its best.
