Gary Farrell 2008 Hallberg Vineyard Pinot Noir (Russian River Valley)

Ripe enough in raspberry, cherry and mulberry fruit, with some flashy notes, but it's all sweet, upfront flavor, with not much else going on. The acidity is fine and the tannins are pretty, but this ultimately is a fairly simple, jammy wine.
