The fruit from this marquee site is elusive at first, offering light wisps of rose petal and bay, earthy and spicy in equal waves. Around its richness of tart cherry are elements of pomegranate, orange zest and tea. It's a wine of great complexity and counterbalance, with a lengthy, leathery finish.
