This ripe, fruit-loaded blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot is showing hints of volatility in the sharp aromatics and some heat in the finish. The influence of three years in French and American oak (40% new) is also clearly evident. The flavors are full-bodied and nicely balanced, with a wash of chocolate and espresso rounding out the finish.
