Intense notions of ripe Russet pear peel and orange rind pith combine into a fragrant nose that also carries an edge of fir honey. The rich and concentrated palate continues to twirl these notions together: bitter but fragrant fir honey, juicy citrus zestiness, ripe, luscious pear. Yet all is bone dry. Gorgeous now, it is certain to evolve. Drink by 2035. Anne Krebiehl MW
