This dense, ripe wine opens with a core of black berry and plum aromas that are framed by herbal notes of menthol, violet, pepper and garrigue. The palate follows suit, with similarly concentrated blackberry, cherry and boysenberry flavors that are spiced by notes of black tea, sweet spice, char and bacon.
