Gérard Bertrand 2018 Clos du Temple Rosé (Languedoc-Cabrières)

This is a lovely, complex, layered and inviting rosé. It opens with a light woody top note that suggests cedar-grilled apple, clove-spiked orange, tangerine peel and peach pit. The palate is silky and seductive, with an initial weight and lushness that's balanced by bright orange-flavored acidity and a lovely texture of delicate tannins and citrus pith through the close. Hints of white florals, like clover and Spanish broom, and garrigue also unfold on the finish. Lauren Buzzeo
