Give this absinthe some time to open up. At first, the faintly golden, nearly clear liquid doesn't taste like much, although it's highly aromatic with lemon verbena, pear and fennel. But with time (and ice water) the scent takes on floral tones, and the flavor shows burnt lemon peel and anise. Pretty Art Nouveau label.
