Underbrush, rose, new leather, crushed mint and balsamic aromas take center stage on this fragrant, structured red. The firm elegantly structured palate shows succulent raspberry, Marasca cherry and licorice alongside a backbone of fine-grained tannins and vibrant acidity. It has great energy and wonderfully juicy fruit—uncommon for the cool wet vintage. Drink 2022–2030.
