Gernot and Heike Heinrich 2017 Blaufränkisch (Leithaberg)

A touch of smoky incense clings to the dark but crunchy cherry fruit on the nose. The palate comes in with both freshness and a lively cherry-fruited juiciness that just seems to underline the freshness and ripeness of the fruit. The tannins are supple and smooth, the tannins are on their way to silkiness while the freshness illuminates everything and shows pure elegance. Anne Krebiehl MW
