Geyser Peak 2003 Block Collection Kuimelis Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon (Alexander Valley)

I've always felt this is one of the best ageworthy Cabs from Sonoma County. This year it's dependably dry and tannic, but those tannins can't entirely keep the briary blackberry and cherry fruit from bursting through. This is a complex, beautiful wine now, with proper decanting, but it should be better beyond 2010.
