Pale gold with a green tinge, this exudes pineapple rind, preserved lemon, honey, butter cream and toast. It's ripe and concentrated with some showy oak, but it never goes overboard on either. The palate is rich with a lactic texture, the lemony acidity tempered by toasty oak. The tangy fruits lingers on the persistent finish. It would make a top drop with buttery lobster or similarly rich seafood fare. Christina Pickard
