Glencadam 15-Year-Old Eastern Highlands Single Malt Whisky

A very pleasant, fresh-out-of-the-oven, intensely grainy bouquet. The palate entry is semisweet and lightly caramel-like; at midpalate there's more of a malty thrust as the taste profile turns a bit sour and astringent. Ends up sweet/sour, grainy, agile on the tongue and medium-bodied. A good introductory Highlands malt. P.P.
