Golan Heights Winery 1999 Yarden Merlot (Galilee)

. The violet color and rich, supple aromas draw you in. Plum and other Merlot-like fruit shines on the racy, acid-rich palate. This is no softy, but it is still plush and deep enough to satisfy and maintain balance. Not a bad Levant red at all. Michael Schachner
