This wine is a tip of the cap to Charles Coury, the man who planted these Sémillon vines nearly 60 years ago. It smells like Golden Delicious apples, pear and ginger, with a wee bit of talc and honeycomb. It possesses brisk acidity to accompany intense flavors like cardamom, lemon sorbet and a cup of genmaicha (or “popcorn tea”). Michael Alberty
