Goldschmidt 2008 PLUS Yeoman Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon (Alexander Valley)

This is a fabulous Cab, packed with blackberries, cherries, mocha and anise notes; toasty oak adds smoky, caramelized sweetness. There's enough tannin structure for balance, although the wine is soft enough to drink now. But you can age it, and it will reward cellaring for at least eight years.
