Gooseneck 2017 Pinot Noir (Oregon)

The company is based in Rhode Island but sources wines from around the world. As in years past, this Pinot was produced in the Elkton Oregon AVA. It's softly fruity with red berries and a suggestion of light chocolate, but without the grip and depth of the 2016. Nonetheless it's a pleasant quaffer, approachable and ready to enjoy over the next year or two. Paul Gregutt
