This is pretty much the same blend as Zachary's Ladder, but with higher alcohol and all new French oak. Perhaps the wine is not yet fully resolved, as the gamy Syrah and grippy, tannic Cabernet seem to be butting heads. The broadly displayed red fruits leave a chalky finish.
