This Pinot Noir from southern Germany balances attractively between berry fruit and more savory notes of cured meat, leather and wet stone. It's medium bodied, with gentle, slightly dusty tannins and a mouthwatering finish. Drink it over the next 2–3 years. Joe Czerwinski
