This is a serious and substantial Cabernet, using grapes sourced primarily from the Phinney Hill Vineyard in the Horse Heaven Hills. Muscular and loaded with purple fruits and cassis, it is thickly woven into a bed of earth and herb. The wine is graceful and balanced, with exceptional depth and detail; however, it leans heavily on the herbal side of the grape.
