Gran Centenario Plata 100% Agave Tequila NOM-1122

Sniffs detect lead/nickel, black pepper, saltines, sesame crackers and dough; an atypical silver/blanco/plata bouquet. Palate entry is viscous and off-dry; at midpalate the flavor becomes smoky and green vegetable-like, with hints of corn husk and agave. Ends moderately spirity and peppery. P.P.
