Greystone Cellars 2008 Merlot (California)

The infamous wildfires in California this vintage seem to be showing up, giving this Merlot a smoky, cigarette ash aroma and taste. It's not entirely unpleasant, and there are still some good cherry flavors, but some people will be put off.
