Greywacke 2018 Botrytis Pinot Gris (Marlborough)

Editors' Choice

The color of melted butter, this is a luscious and intensely aromatic botrytised dessert wine with notes of lemon drops, nectar and cherry blossoms at the height of bloom. The palate is mouthcoating and unctuous with enough acidity to cut through the sweetness, which feels subtle rather than cloying. Chill down like a white and drink on its own or with a salty blue cheese. Christina Pickard
