There's richness and concentration to this slightly off-dry Riesling. Notes of honey, lime leaf, chalk dust, lemon oil and a touch of kerosene lead. A flicker of honeyed sweetness adds texture and roundness to the palate. While it lacks the rapier acidity typical to this variety, it's fresh enough. Citrus oil lingers on the finish. A deliberate and well crafted style for sipping with spicy Thai or Mexican cuisine. Christina Pickard
