With ample acidity to buoy things along, this is a barrel-influenced, zingy Chardonnay. It offers bright flavors of lemon curd, apple tart and a dip into tropical territory with a suggestion of just-picked pineapple. A nod to Grgich's great history with the grape, it's balanced and plenty long on the finish, calling out for roast chicken.
