Grove Mill 2016 Sauvignon Blanc (Wairau Valley)

On the lean and mean side, this wine shows green characters of broccoli, green beans and peas are followed by citrus, passionfruit, ginger and wet stone notes. The palate is searing in acidity but the fruit is well integrated, and the wet stone and white pepper finish is appealing. Christina Pickard
