Gullin Landscape 1999 Red Earth Cabernet Cabernet Sauvignon (Coonawarra)

The initial impression from the bouquet is that you are in the middle of a barnyard. Fruit just isn't part of the aromatic show. Cherry and leather dominate the palate, which has ample tannic grip and the full allotment of spiciness. Unfortunately, however, it doesn't sing as a whole. Michael Schachner
