Gundlach Bundschu 2014 Estate Vineyard Dry Gewürztraminer (Sonoma Coast)

Made in an Alsatian style from a 150-plus-year-old estate vineyard, this dry, well-crafted white is 90% stainless-steel fermented, with the rest fermented in neutral oak. It conveys jasmine and ripe stone fruit, crisp, clean with very little oak intrusion and sharply etched acidity. Flavors of pear and green apple mark the finish. Virginie Boone
