Soft, full, rich and spicy, this is an intense wine, expressing the essence of Pinot Gris. It's ripe, off-dry, but with a core of dry toast and almond flavors which go with the pear and nutmeg tastes. This is still a young wine – Lorentz advises 10-15 years aging: more realistic would be another 3-4.
