Gustave Lorentz 2016 Kanzlerberg Grand Cru Riesling (Alsace)

Touches of earth, chalk, lemon and orange peel on the nose promise freshness, with a little grapefruit-zest lift. The palate of this wine is zippy and lemony, with bright slenderness shimmering at every turn. It's an elegant, trim but full-flavored Riesling, with a dry, lip-smacking finish. Anne Krebiehl MW
