Gustave Lorentz 2017 Kanzlerberg Grand Cru Riesling (Alsace)

Notes of wet earth are suffused with aromas of lemon peel and yellow apple on this wine's open nose. More air adds lifted hints of dried hayflowers. On the precise, concentrated palate, the central shaft of buffered freshness is pervasive and bright. The texture is smooth and rich, but very poised. It finishes dry and long. Anne Krebiehl MW
