This blend of mostly Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon smells like eating watermelon curbside at a Fourth of July parade. The nose also has touches of saline, spearmint and honeysuckle. The acidity is positively tingly, with flavors of nectarines, raspberries and a bitter note on the finish that suggests tonic water with a splash of orange bitters. Michael Alberty
