After opening with fiery, baked-fruit aromas, this Cabernet-Merlot blend settles on cured meat, tarry aromas and black-fruit scents. Flavors of blackberry, black currant and berry jam only grow richer and deeper as the wine unfolds. By the time it finishes, it's borderline stewy but not quite.
