Oodles of aromas jump out of this blend of 70% Cabernet Franc, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot and 3% Malbec. The nose suggests blackberry jelly, just-cracked peppercorn, cola, Dr Pepper, cedar and dusty woods. The palate is lively with wild berries and stewed prunes, framed by a strong tannic structure, with more peppercorns and dill freshness.
