The Hallock Lane Reserve is a standout among an ever-improving array of Merlot offerings from Harbes Family Vineyards. Fragrant and lusciously ripe, it boasts deep juicy streaks of black cherry and berry flavors accented by nuanced layers of licorice, earth and smoke. An elegant backbone of acidity and ripe tannins give it a four-square frame of structure. It's delicious already but should develop deeper complexity through 2030.
