Hargrave 1999 Sauvignon Blanc (North Fork of Long Island)

Picked quite ripe, the resulting wine features mainly melon and fig aromas and flavors, with very little grassiness in evidence. Crisp acidity on the finish provides the vivacity needed to pair with oysters or clams. Joe Czerwinski
