Hawley 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon (Dry Creek Valley)

This was a pretty good vintage, and the wine is balanced and dry, with smooth tannins and cherry-berry flavors. Yet it can't quite overcome that rustic, briary thing that Dry Creek reds often have.
