For a 2019, this already feels tired. The fruit is raisiny, like cherry preserves, backed by vineyard floor, sweat and sweet oak aromas. Tannins are drying, chewy and sappy amid the tart cherry fruit. The acidity freshens, but the oak is heavyset, making this a rich red that lacks harmony and drinkability. Christina Pickard
